About our foodbank

Here is an introduction to our project.

The Taff Bargoed Foodbank opened in March 2020 in response to the Covid-19 pandemic, with one Foodbank centre in Nelson. The foodbank serves the communities of Nelson, Treharris, Quakers Yard, Edwardsville, Trelewis and Bedlinog; distributing emergency food parcels at a time of crisis.
